What is the Liberty Project?
The Liberty Project is a social enterprise created by Enactus Windsor, a student-run organization at the University of Windsor, which aims to address two significant needs:
Providing women who have overcome abuse, addictions, and trauma in Windsor-Essex with an opportunity for transitional employment, and
Giving women living in poverty across the world access to sanitary menstrual health products.
We believe by having women empower women, we can advance the economic and social progress that is linked to individual prosperity, gender equality, and shared opportunity in our community and around the world.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we expanded to produce to reusable face masks that are donated to organizations in our community.
